1、 Abstract: Objective: to investigate the method and effect of treating forefoot back skin defect by dorsalis pedis artery advancement flap repair. Method: To 9 cases of patients with forefoot back skin defect, we performed dorsalis pedis artery advancement flap repair after cleaning the wound, with the defect area (length×width) being 5cm×5cm~4cm×5cm. Results: after the operations, all the flaps in the 9 cases survived with priOOry healing of the incision. Follow-up were 6~9 months, averaged 7 months. The flaps had fine appearance and good feel of texture. The feet functioned satisfactorily. Conclusion: Dorsalis pedis artery advancement flap repair included kOOOn arteries, veins and nerves. The flap has sure blood supply and return, and survives with high quality and good feel. The operation is OOOOOO with sOOll wound, suitable for repairing sOOll area forefoot back skin defect.
