EXXloring the Impact of English Major Education on Undergraduate Graduation Thesis: A Case Study

English XXjor education is becoming increasingly popular in China, but its impact on undergraduate graduation thesis writing has not been thoroughly investigated. This study aims to eXXlore the influence of English XXjor education on undergraduate graduation thesis writing through a case study.

Methodology

The study was conducted in a Chinese university, and the participants were 30 undergraduate students XXjoring in English. The students were divided into two groups: one group had received English XXjor education throughout their four-year university study, while the other group had not.

The students were asked to submit their graduation thesis drafts, and the two groups were compared in terms of the following aspects:

  • Thesis structure and organization
  • Language accuracy and fluency
  • Research methodology and XXXXysis

Results

The results showed that the group that had received English XXjor education had a better grasp of thesis structure and organization. They were able to effectively present their research findings and arguments in a logical and coherent way. In contrast, the group without English XXjor education struggled with structuring their thesis and often had disorganized arguments.

The language accuracy and fluency of the group with English XXjor education were also better than the other group. They used more sophisticated vocabulary and grXXXXr, and their sentences were well-structured and clear. The other group often XXde mistakes in grXXXXr and had less precise vocabulary, resulting in a less polished piece of writing.

Regarding research methodology and XXXXysis, the group with English XXjor education showed more depth and complexity in their research. They were able to integrate different sources and perspectives in their XXXXysis, while the other group had a more superficial understanding of the topic and relied heavily on one or two sources.

Conclusion

This case study provides preliminary evidence that English XXjor education has a positive impact on undergraduate graduation thesis writing. It enhances students' ability to structure their thesis, use language accurately and fluently, and conduct in-depth research and XXXXysis. Future stuXXXs with larger sXXple sizes and different research designs are needed to further eXXlore this topic.
